Dr. Dan Roode moved from the Midwest to the Tampa Bay Area in 2009 and has been treating chiropractic patients here ever since, including within Pinellas County for the past 11 years. He has been active in several professional organizations and is past president of both the Pinellas County Chiropractic Society (PCCS) and the Council on Forensic Sciences (a subspecialty council of the American Chiropractic Association, or ACA). The PCCS is where Dr. Roode first met Dr. Al and Jen Comey who were also very active in helping represent chiropractors and their patients within the community and beyond. 

On multiple occasions Dr. Roode traveled to Washington DC with the ACA to speak with members of congress to improve access to Chiropractic care for service members, veterans, and their families. He traveled to Tallahassee numerous times with the PCCS to meet with state representatives regarding issues facing chiropractors and their patients. He has held local seminars with other medical professionals to educate people on various conditions and the many ways chiropractic and non-surgical care can aid in injury recovery and achieving wellness.

Dr. Roode is certified in Acupuncture therapy and has been a certified medical examiner to perform DOT medical examinations for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Association. He has Advanced Certification in Whiplash Injury Biomechanics & Traumatology as well as certifications in kinesiology taping and soft tissue therapies. Dr. Roode also has advanced training in adjusting extremities (arms, legs, hands, and feet) and the TMJ (jaw). He is excited to continue the high standard of individualized care offered by Comey Chiropractic Clinic with upper cervical care as well as bring new methods and modalities to further benefit patient care and outcomes.
